Our client was a fashion entrepreneur who wanted a calm, peaceful atmosphere to retreat to after a busy day. New, co-ordinated architectural elements were introduced with cool lines and formal shapes to contrast with the existing Edwardian vocabulary. These elements have been used to reinforce existing formal relationships between rooms in an attempt to give a controlled, balanced and peaceful atmosphere.
